  • We're going to skate to one song and one song only...

    First post of the year! Woot woot!

     

    Well... I don't really have much to say here. I'm just trying to waste the time. I do have a philosophy paper due on Wednesday and a writing studies paper due tomorrow I guess. Blah. Dancing With The Stars is SOOOO GOOD. Gosh I wish I was on this show. Ps. My fro is sucking so bad. I will never use Jessie's Curl pudding again. It leaves too much residue, and I don't like it. It does make my hair smell nice nonetheless. Oh and my twist out was very defined. Blah. I've got 1.5 months left of this place. I'm so excited. I'm truly only worried about writing studies. Well, let me do this essay. I LOVE ALEX. She's so great, and her fro is BANGIN'! I think I'm fat, and soon will begin to starve myself. Heh jk, but not really. Okay. It's 10pm. I'm definitely doing half of this essay tonight, and the rest tomorrow morning. I have faith in myself.

  • What was your favorite moment or event of this holiday season?

    My favorite moment is Christmas morning breakfast.  We have Ham and Cocoa Bread with Sweet Gravy.  It's so amazingly good, especially when the gravy is made right.  It's a family tradition and we have it for Thanksgiving breakfast as well as on Christmas (sometimes New Year's Day).  From what I know, it started with my Grandmother Bertha -- she even made her cocoa bread from scratch!  I wish I had the chance to have some of her cooking; my dad speaks highly of her.  I hope to be as good as her one day.

    Sidenote:// Today is Max's 10th birthday!  He's so old!  :)

  • What are your New Year's resolutions?

    My New Year's resolutions.  I don't want to think of them that way, because I don't plan on keeping these only for next year - I want to make a change in my habits and stick to those for the rest of my life.  I want to be a healthier person - body&&hair.  I want to be a studious person - I want to study just to study and not for a test that's in 10 hrs or so.  I never want to be lost in my school work because I want to be on top of it.  I want to have better relationships with my family&friends - I feel bad that I don't talk to a lot of people for long periods of time, and that shall change.  Lastly, I want to be a better girlfriend.  I don't know how I'm going to do so, but I will figure out a way - I know our spring semesters will be busy, but I still want to set aside some time for us.

    For the Stupid Stuff (starting on Jan 1st):
    ~I shall cut out soda and limit my juice intake.  I will reward myself with a milkshake once a month!  :)
    ~I shall brush my teeth twice a day from now on.
    ~I shall stretch for 30 minutes at least once a day.
    ~I shall go to the gym at least once a week.

    'Tis all I have for now.  When I think of things, I will add them to my list!  Next year will be great!
